1. Framework
1.1. This policy describes the use of cookies and local storage technologies on www.hugorosa.pt, in compliance with article 5 of Portuguese Law no. 41/2004 of 18 August, as amended, and with the General Data Protection Regulation.
1.2. Cookies are small text files stored by a website on the user's terminal equipment, allowing, among other things, an authenticated session to be maintained or preferences to be remembered.

2.1. The Website uses exclusively cookies strictly necessary for the provision of the service expressly requested by the user, which are exempt from prior consent under article 5(3) of Law no. 41/2004.

3. Absence of non-essential cookies
3.1. The Website uses no analytics, advertising, content personalisation or social sharing cookies, and does not build browsing profiles.
4. Local storage
4.1. The cookie notice uses the browser's local storage mechanism to record that it has been seen, so that it is not repeated.
4.2. That record remains on the user's terminal equipment and is not transmitted to the controller or to any third party.
5. Embedded audiovisual content
5.1. Audiovisual content is presented by means of a still image hosted on the Website itself; a connection to the source platform is established only if the user starts playback, at which point that platform may set its own cookies, subject to its own policy.
6. Managing cookies
6.1. The user may at any time configure their browser to block or delete cookies through its settings.
6.2. Blocking strictly necessary cookies prevents the authenticated session from being maintained and therefore access to the Client Area.
